Seems like there's not enough voltage going through the switch to the driver side window, The 18 V supply is 50% more than the design of the motor, so it's very likely that it would run a lot better. The motor could be "tired", and that is why it's slower when using just the 12 V from the driver ...

Reset steps: -Turn ignition to “Accessory” (not the first click, the second with the dash lights on) -Go over to passenger side door to press and hold window switch down for 4 seconds -Pull ...Hold the button down for 3 seconds. Here are the relevant pages from the factory service manual. There is a fuse box under the hood on the driver's side (with spare fuses in the lid) and another in the driver's side under dash. Both covers have legends on them describing the fuses. 1. roll window down and hold switch 1 sec. 2 roll window up and told switch 1 sec. window should work as expected. Tried that, tried the owner's manual procedure (roll halfway down, roll back up and hold for 1 second) even tried rolling passenger side window down and holding for a couple seconds as outlined in some other similar posts.
