Dec 23, 2015 · GM's AFM/DOD is well known for lifter failure which causes engine failure. I've already had to replaced my LC9 in my Suburban because of Lifter failure as a result of a flawed design. I'm going with this setup soon on my current LC9 with the LS9 cam/LS7 Lifter/LS6 spring setup.
